About Olivia Walsh

My career focus has been customer support, in a wide ranging, variety of functions. I can appear in many forms; problem solver, trusted advisor, customer advocate, agony aunt, promoter, change manager, SME, liaison, innovator, leader, supporter, motivator. When performing one or many of these functions for a customer I have learned that you must start with building a relationship, with a focus on developing and maintaining a partnership. What's the different between customer relationship and partnership?Partnership goes beyond relationship, in a partnership our successes are tied to each other. Relationships are the building blocks to partnerships. When the relationship becomes so strong that it is solidified, then partnerships are established. Partnerships take time, practice and trust. In business, relationships are about seeking connections, however partnerships are about seeking purpose.
