I have always had a relentless determination to follow my heart, and I have found a path that lights that passion, even if it is a path that seems outlandish in my small hometown in Indiana. My lifelong love for the sciences and passion for the art of cosmetic beauty products has led me to pursue chemistry, with intention to attend graduate school to focus in cosmetic science. Throughout my academic journey, I have consistently demonstrated a strong work ethic and stubborn drive to pursue my goals, with a keen eye for detail. In addition to mastering principles of chemistry, I have honed my critical thinking and problem-solving skills through a variety of laboratory experiences. My innovative ideas have been recognized by my peers and professors alike, and I have been commended for my ability to think outside of the box and generate creative solutions. I am excited to apply these skills to the field of cosmetic science, where I hope to develop cutting-edge sustainable products that meet the needs of consumers around the world and allow me to use chemistry as an outlet for my creativity.
