About Olivia Weg

Growing up in a family that moved often provided me with a unique perspective that grew into a desire. A desire to explore the vast world we are blessed to be in and to help people in a substantial manner while doing so. I am committed to connecting authentically with people while doing everything in life for the glory of God. I have already realized that through various volunteering opportunities with organizations such as Community Action House and Habitat for Humanity. I recently graduated from Hope College, receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Global Studies, Communication, and French. While involved in my education, I was also engaged around Hope's campus. I was a club member of Le Cercle Francophone (French Club) and Rumba Latina. I was also an employee of the Hope College Theatre Department in various roles such as lighting/sound, assistant stage managing, and working in the scene shop building the set. I also worked in our school's writing center and off campus in a home goods store called The Seasoned Home. In my Junior year, I was selected to be a representative of Hope College at the 2023 Athens Democracy Forum in Athens, Greece. The activities I am a part of give me a range of knowledge and skills I am able to translate to many different jobs. I am adaptable, communicative, hard-working, organized, and eager to learn. I am committed to taking my experiences and applying them as I begin to enter the workforce.
