About Olivier Binet

Olivier enjoys nothing more than to participate in revealing the full potential of a person, an idea or a company. After many experiences in the world of technology and innovation, since the summer of 2020 Olivier has been leading the development of Finom, a FinTech whose mission is to help the self-employed and small businesses who produce more than half of the GDP but are the least well served by banks. He has been helping numerous startups find their catalysts at key moments of their development, some being very successful and having raised tens of millions of €. Olivier also speaks regularly at innovation and FinTech conferences. His strength and his difference? He’s really a catalyst! Olivier believes that everything is linked and that discovering links helps us apprehend the complexity of the world and reveal the strength and beauty of ideas and people. Trained as an Engineer at Virginia Tech, having studied psychology and later Business at HEC, Olivier has a talent for understanding how things work, how they interact, and what roadblocks are preventing success. He is also fascinated by how a small ingredient at the right time can make all the difference and how finding the right catalyst often proves more efficient than brute force. Before FINOM, Olivier served in multiple leadership roles where he could make a difference for the company and for their clients: at large companies like PayPal helping businesses find their digital better selves, at InPost growing its international footprint and finding the secret sauce to replicate the amazing Polish success.
