About Olivier Peter

Olivier Peter, Senior Manager works within our Liquidation Services, Forensic & AML since October 2009. Since joining Liquidation Services, Forensic & AML, Olivier has been almost exclusively serving the investment fund sector and commercial companies on issues relating to Solvent Liquidations, Portfolio valuation, Hedging activities, Secondary market transactions and Fraud investigations. Olivier just performed a one year internship within the Deloitte Cayman Islands Firm. During that year, Olivier performed almost exclusively Court Appointed Liquidations which also, in many cases, included some Forensic Investigations. These Court Appointed liquidations were either solvent or insolvent. During this year, Olivier worked very closely with various legal counsels and gained some knowledge on Common Law and Insolvency practices. On December 2010, Olivier finalised a Master Degree in “Banque Finance et Assurance – Université Paris Ouest Nanterre la Défense- CSL ». In the context of this Master Degree, Olivier wrote his paper on : “La recouvrabilité des actifs en période de cessation de payements au Luxembourg” Before joining Liquidation Services, Forensic & AML, Olivier performed audits and prepared Consolidated Financial Statements of PE/RE and commercial entities. This work included the following more specific topics: Real Estate Companies, Private Equity, Securitisation, Consolidation, PPL, PECS, IFRS, tax provisions, financial statements review, management of the client relationship, billing, accounting, technical advices, facilitating trainings. Through these experiences, he developed significant expertise in: technical agreements’ analysis, valuation of complex assets, specific accounting treatments/entries, risk cover/analysis, team coaching.
