About Ollie Davis

Growing up near the water played a key role in shaping who I am today. My journey began with building my first optimist in the garden shed with my dad, and it eventually led to completing my first ocean crossing. My passion for the water started more than 20 years ago. From teaching sailing at my local sailing club to working with Mark Warner Clubs in Greece, all these experiences paved the way for me to cruise the world aboard Superyachts. Becoming a Chase Boat Captain gave me valuable experience in managing people, time, and honing my leadership skills, while also learning to think on my feet. I had the opportunity to oversee several shipyard periods as Captain, as well as manage multiple projects aboard the mothership, leading preparations for the start of the busy cruising season. Stepping ashore, has allowed me to bring all the skills and experience that I gained at sea and utilise them in everyday life. After stepping ashore, I’m eager to share the knowledge I’ve gained in yachting and use it to assist others. Project Management and Tender Consultancy are areas where I believe my extensive experience can be of great value, especially during refits or new build projects. By becoming a Yacht Owner Representative, I can help prospective owners gain crucial insights into creating the ideal tender for their space and intended use
