About Ollie Glover

My last position was working as a professional recruiter at Matchtech, with my specialist area being the marine industry. I worked for the company for the best part of 18 months, and with no previous experience with the industry I soon got to grips with it, and performed very well, hitting, and exceeding my targets on a regular basis. My area of expertise within the marine industry was with within the shipbuilding trades market. I have spent the majority of my time working within this sector, and have been very successful in delivering an excellent service to our clients, making a number of placements. However due to the unfortunate circumstances surrounding Covid-19, I now find myself looking for another position. As much as I Enjoyed working with a great team, and in the high octane environment that recruitment provides, I never really saw it as something I wanted to make a long career out of. For my next role I hope to take more of a step towards the sporting industry, which is something I am really passionate about, and an industry where I can really put my degree to good use.
