I'm currently a post-baccalaureate researcher at the University of California, Santa Cruz after completing a dual Bachelors degree in Physics/Astrophysics and Mathematical Theory and Computation. I will be starting my PhD in Astrophysics studying strong gravitational lensing as a probe of fundamental dark matter physics at UC San Diego in Fall 2025. I am deeply passionate about creating equitable and inclusive spaces in STEM, and the intersection between the sciences, social justice, and decolonization. My time at community college also showed me the power of dedicated teachers, and my dream is to one day return to Cabrillo College as a physics professor.
