Femi is an field IT technician by training. Femi assist senior auditors to develop audit programs and ensures that the audits appropriately address risks or concerns around access, configuration management, business process, segregation of duties, computer operations, backup and recovery and disaster recovery, Assist in scoping and testing application/system controls at the entity and system levels (Application, DB and OS layers) resulting in effective control of the systems, Performing general controls oversight and review to verify compliance with SOX Audit and professional standards, Applying solid understanding of internal audit standards and policies to provide timely audit assurance thereby improving business operations, Support the planning, development, organization, direction and implementation of a comprehensive audit readiness program, Assist managers to prepare Document Request List (DRL), Assist external independent auditors in sourcing required audit supporting documentations, Maintain inventory logs of samples in accordance with established SOP’s, Review SOP and make recommendations in accordance with established standards, Review and perform reconciliation of sample pick-up and customer requirements in compliance to established organizational policies, Ensure legal documentation is complete and accurate (i.e; Chain of Custody Forms), Maintain regular communication with internal management regarding identified discrepancies and weaknesses in samples, schedules, customer requirements, problems, delays, and/or complaints, Maintain accurate logs, records and other documentation as required, Ensure samples are labeled appropriately and assist with sample log-in efforts.
