About Oluwaseun Adeleke

A career path that began with a tenure at the Federal Ministry of Health as Health Promotion/Communication specialist was inclusive of the responsibility to forge relationships with various government and non-governmental agencies (including development partners) at National and State levels to develop, implement, monitor and evaluate advocacy and communication strategies. Over the last 13 years, I have occupied a variety of positions that have ranged from Liaison Officer, Technical Specialist, Deputy Chief of Party and Program Manager / State Coordinator. In these positions, I have had technical and managerial oversight over high-impact programs with success, resulting in an award in recognition of outstanding achievement and demonstrated project impact for a USAID project, an A rating for a DFID project, meritorious score for a Bill and Melinda Gates Project, improved the reputational capital as well as the scope of patronage and partnerships of organizations I have worked for. In the international arena, I was enlisted by enlisted by USAID projects in Malawi’s and South Sudan to set necessary processes, procedures and tools in place to deploy the use of Smart-phones for supportive supervision of Integrated Essential Health Programme services. My experience is complemented by my qualification as a medical doctor and a Masters degree in Business Administration. I am currently in the process of completing a doctorate degree in Public Health from Walden University. The successes I have recorded are to a large extent attributable to my ability to work as a team player, as well as mentor and motivate those that have worked under me.
