A chartered process/chemical engineer with over 15 years working experience within the water/wastewater & renewables energy sectors aimed at providing process engineering design support, capital maintenance schemes, preparation of spreadsheets for equipment design, technical and quality assistance and optimisation of water and wastewater treatment related processes. I carried out research on membrane separation technology and in particular improving the efficiency of membrane performance and flux sustainability using turbulence promoters during my doctorate programme. I have strong analytical skills and an aptitude for process improvements and design management. I am currently working as a principal research scientist within QEERI, an affiliation of HBKU in Qatar Foundation with a bias for wastewater treatment & reuse and optimization using Advanced Oxidation Processes & various membrane based technologies for improving water quality for beneficial applications within the region. I am also focused on produced water treatment technologies and oily wastewater separation technologies related to the oil and gas industry.
