About Oma Jaikaran
Hi my name is Oma. Ever since I was a little girl I loved science! I wanted to be an astronaut or engineer but as years went on I found that my passion lies in food science. I enjoyed learning about the different processes food can go though and how it affects the quality, I even went as far as to get my BSc. in food science which was worth every ounce of dedication and I have full intentions to future my knowledge in this area of study. But knowledge isn't just limited to science as I gained some experience in accounting during my employment at the Judiciary of T&T. There I learnt the ins and outs of the processes behind payment and the basics of the different softwares needed to make financial transactions easier. I also have a pique interest for learning how to use technology to make tasks more manageable and the fundamentals behind new softwares in the tech world. Lastly I enjoy using all the knowledge and skills I have gained to improve my life and for my country which is the reason for my avid volunteering with different organizations like the Red Cross or various private projects, I'm always willing to help.
