I have the privilege of leading Pearson, the world’s lifelong learning company. We help millions of people around the world realise the life they imagine through learning. Why learning? Humans are born to learn. From our very first breath, we never stop learning. It’s a vital force that fuels – and transforms – our lives. This belief sits at the heart of who Pearson is and it’s why I’m here. We have important work ahead of us. We’ve entered an era where AI is changing how we live and work. There’s a major skills gap growing in our world. AI can make us dumber or smarter, depending on how we use it. But I’m an optimist, and I believe we can harness the power of tech and the power of people to help us develop the skills we need to thrive in this new world. I’m excited to use my leadership and technology experience to make that happen.
