About Omar al Khal

Born and raised in Germany, lived in Japan, Qatar, and the UK with an academic specialization in International Business from Brunel University.I began my career in the telecom industry, operating in a startup capacity to develop new business divisions and working on megaprojects focused on innovative strategic opportunities. My work with the innovation team included formulating strategies for the healthcare vertical.I participated in an innovation committee established by the Supreme Council Delivery and Legacy and Qatar Science & Technology Park, contributing to economic diversification efforts in Qatar. I was honored to complete the McKinsey Accelerated Leadership Program.Currently, in Investment Development department at the Qatar Free Zones Authority, I managed lead generation, market research, and market intelligence, while recommending market entry strategies and fostering stakeholder engagement within the Strategic and Commercial Development division.Inspired by my experiences in innovation and business development, I co-founded Tatami, a PropTech platform transforming the rental experience.As Co-Founder & Chief Growth Officer, at Tatami, I spearhead growth initiatives, develop strategic partnerships, and drive user acquisition. My role involves aligning the company's vision with actionable strategies to enhance user engagement and expand market presence, ensuring a seamless and innovative rental experience.
