About Omar Bennani

I'm a product leader who strives to deliver the best customer experience. In my current role I lead a team who build consensus on a roadmap and develop experiences in consumer lending. When I get the chance I have fun digging into new customer experiences and building interactive mocks. I'm an engineer with a UX background. Sometimes I can't help but get all the use cases built out. As a leader I enjoy seeing my team develop and grow their skills and ability. At Caterpillar, I led a small team of developers across continents on a range of products for Petroleum applications. Our team spearheaded the adoption of web and IoT technology by designing one of the first uses within Caterpillar targeting local interfaces. In my free time I like to experiment on the grill and in the kitchen. With friends, I enjoy playing new board games in the winter and maximizing Chicago fest season in the summer.
