Data Engineer/Scientist leading on multiple financial projects within the FCA. Computer Science and Mathematics Graduate from the Queen Mary University of London with a strong interest in Finance, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics and Software Engineering. I value education and believe being in a perpetual state of learning is crucial to development. I strive to be a well-rounded individual and hence I am always looking for new and unique opportunities. I am experienced in Java, Python, AWS and SQL. I also have a strong Mathematical background with an emphasis on Calculus, Linear Algebra, Probability and Statistics. I spent a full year at Microsoft as an intern developing various technical skills. It was a fantastic opportunity for me to explore one of the greatest technology companies operating today. I then worked at Amazon as a Business Analyst before enrolling in the Technology Graduate Programme at Sainsbury’s. I now work at the FCA within Data Unified Intelligence providing internal solutions from a Data Analytics/Engineering and Science paradigm. I am currently developing my knowledge in Economics and Finance by studying a Postgraduate Diploma in Economics at the University of Birkbeck, London. I have also worked as a private tutor teaching Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics up to A-level. I have built up many excellent testimonials over the last decade. This has helped me to understand how to solve complex problems efficiently and then learn how to break them down in a simple manner whilst teaching.
