Background
About Omar Ghazal
I have broad experience in architecture with a multidisciplinary background in both art and design. I have most recently worked as a Senior Architect for Makower Architects, where I led projects specializing in Architecture and Urbanism including International Quarter London for Lendlease, and Brent Cross South for Argent. I have also led winning proposals for master planning and architecture projects in the Middle East. Previously, I have worked for the conservation architects, Purcell, award-winning emerging practice, Studio Ben Allen, where I led innovative bespoke fabrication projects, and with renowned artists and architects, such as Charles Avery, Nigel Coates, and Demitri Porphyrios. My personal practice emerges from a number of themes with a recent focus on the roles of making, history and geography in architecture and how these relate to my own personal journey. Within this intimate plane of creation, a new direction emerges that aims to take on current challenges and new opportunities to produce intricately detailed and innovative architecture.
