About Omar Haytham

I’m a Civil Construction Engineer at Consolidated Contractors Company where I’ve been building hands-on experience as a Site Construction Engineer so I can truly visualize how construction activities come together. This helps me prepare for a smooth transition into project management and control departments in the future. I am also a part of intensive Graduate Under Development program, where I’ve had the chance to rotate across departments and learn how projects are managed from start to finish. Departments I have been rotating through are the following: Cost Estimation, Cost Control, QS, Planning, Field Engineering, Procurement, HSE, QC, Site Construction, Contracts, and PMV. I’m currently working on the Lagoon Beach Phase at Mountain View iCity – New Cairo, one of large-scale residential projects. To back up this practical experience, I’m also studying for a Project Management Diploma at AUC, which gives me a solid framework to connect my on-site learning with structured project management methods. What matters most to me is understanding the bigger picture, how the technical side, the financial side, and the people side of construction all connect. I value learning by doing, building strong relationships, and always finding better ways to add value. Looking ahead, I’m especially interested in procurement and business development, where I can combine my technical background with strategy, negotiation, and external exposure. I’m always open to connecting with people in construction, project management, and real estate development.
