About Omar Khalafalla
I am a structural engineer with 10 years of experience in the design of prestressed concrete bridges and buildings with a strong background in steel design, wood design, FRP design and strengthing of concrete and Seismic design. I obtained my Doctorate and Master's degrees from North Carolina State University. My Ph.D. research focused on evaluating the durability and behavior of Carbon FRP strands used in prestressing of concrete members.
