About Omar Mahmoud

I’m an Electromechanical Engineer currently working as a Material Engineer at Orascom Construction in New Alamein City, Egypt. With strong experience in procurement, MEP systems, and large-scale construction, I’ve contributed to national projects such as the Historical City, Latin City, Marina Towers, and Alamein Towers LD01. Previously, I worked at Consolidated Contractors Company in a joint venture with Hassan Allam Construction, where I played a key role in procurement engineering—coordinating vendor management, contract approvals, and supply chain operations for major infrastructure developments. I hold a Bachelor's in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from Alexandria University and an MBA in Strategic Management from the Arab Academy for Science and Technology. My academic and professional journey reflects a passion for supply chain optimization, data analysis, data science, AI developments, planning, and cost control. I firmly believe that through the integration of data analysis, data science, and AI, these areas can be significantly improved, driving innovation and efficiency in construction and engineering. My goal is to bridge the gap between technical expertise and data-driven decision-making to build smarter, more sustainable systems.
