About Omar Perrin

Thanks to UPS I have been able to travel the world bringing exciting challenges into my life and giving me a sense of purpose to see my impact on a global scale. Before UPS, I worked for a start-up company, a non-profit company, and different Fortune 500 corporation. This variety of job exposure prepared me for what to expect when working with UPS; so far this experience has vastly exceeded my expectation. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering (IE) and landed a night shift position with UPS in the IE department in 2013 monitoring Worldwide Express Freight (WWEF), a brand new service offering at the time. This was just the beginning as I knew I wanted to be a problem solver for UPS. After 7 years of networking, traveling, and building my brand through multiple promotions within UPS, I decided to take another step and earn my Masters in Global Leadership. The MBA is honing my leadership, project management, and team-building skills, while providing a valuable introduction to areas of the business to which I’m not often exposed. I expect the next few decades of my career with UPS to provide even more opportunities to lead our people to delight customers with transformative ideas and profitable results.
