About Omar Raza

I lead a team of bankers and financial services professionals in London to deliver the best bank to our customers. Together, we help multinational corporate companies grow by meeting their financial needs, supporting their international trade and payments, and by connecting them to opportunities across our global network. I joined HSBC in 2006 on the Graduate Training Programme. Since then, I've worked in many areas of HSBC’s Commercial and Corporate Bank including a number of Relationship Management roles at all levels of seniority; Credit Approver / Sanctioner; Leader within our International Subsidiary Banking Large Corporate Business; and built successful businesses and teams. I am a progressive change focussed leader with a strong track record in building and growing successful businesses, managing risk, and building client and internal relationships. This is coupled with a track record of business transformation, national business management, driving financial performance, and embedding self-development and career progression across the teams I have led. Additionally, I have created wholesale inclusion cultural change across HSBC UK and globally. I thoroughly enjoy bringing together people, ideas and capital to shape a better, more sustainable world.
