If you asked me years ago when I was a naive twenty something where I thought I would be years from now, working in the retail environment would not have been my answer. When I walked into a local retailer after moving from New York to Massachusetts just hoping to get a job for Christmas, I would have never thought I’d be where I am today. I found a new passion in Loss Prevention. I started as a cashier and quickly made my way to Loss Prevention. I got addicted to the thrill and excitement of loss prevention and worked my way up a into a District Manager. I gained many experiences which include management, leadership, training, Interviewing, internal and Organized Retail Crime Investigations, inventory control, logistics/operations, human resources, and customer service. Last year, I embarked on a new journey in my life where I left a company I worked for 17 yrs and seized on an opportunity to join a fantastic company in TJX Companies. My time with the company has been a wonderful experience. Being an analyst brings me a whole new perspective of loss prevention. I enjoy getting a behind the scenes perspective in the decision making process behind company policy. I also enjoy the ability to help test and develop new systems for our company and being afforded the opportunity to share my years of experience to help lead a dynamic team in identifying the latest theft and fraud schemes. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our new rescue puppy, Teddy. I also enjoy spending time watching HGTV and then trying out new projects in our first house. So far, I am still married and my house appears to look better. In my other free time I really enjoy my first passion which is music. I love playing my instruments, listening to music, and enjoy going to concerts. Ultimately, a healthy work life balance is important to me and being successful at both is my goal.
