About Omar Sayed

I am a senior law student at Cairo University and alumnus of the Hague academy of international law, interested in public international law, arbitration, administrative law, civil law, and sustainable development. My academic interests are complemented by hands-on experience gained during my internships at the Ministry of International Cooperation and the National Council for Women. These roles have provided me with the opportunity to work directly on international agreements and legal frameworks, sharpening my skills in legal drafting, analysis, and advocacy. My journey in social justice began at a young age. I started volunteering at Esma Dog Shelter when I was 12, and this experience deeply influenced my passion for advocacy. Over the years, I have led fundraising and event planning initiatives for organizations such as the Baheya Breast Cancer Foundation and Esma Dog Shelter, driven by a belief in the power of community engagement to bring about positive change. In addition to my legal work, I am committed to addressing global challenges through research, particularly in the areas of climate change and gender inequality. I believe that these issues are among the most pressing of our time and require dedicated efforts to create lasting solutions. Youth empowerment is another area where I am deeply involved. I am passionate about supporting and inspiring young people to take on leadership roles and make a difference in their communities. I believe that empowering the next generation is key to building a more equitable and sustainable future. With strong skills in leadership, research, and communication, I am dedicated to making meaningful contributions to the fields of law, diplomacy, and advocacy. My commitment to social justice drives me to actively seek out ways to address the complex challenges we face today.
