About Omar Trejo

I was born in Mexico City in the heart of beautiful historic downtown. My origin, Cuban by Mom´s side and Mexican by my dad. Due to my Dad´s vocation, I was always interested in people´s health, as a Physician. That was my strong influence to decided study Medical school and had the opportunity to achieve my grade in Universidad La Salle in Mexico City in 1998. Same year I entered at HIV Clinic diseases department at Instituto Nacional de Ciencia Médicas y Nutrición Salvador Zubirán as a study coordinator and sub-investigator ´til 2001. I have 16 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Clinical Research Industry, 4 years as Clinical Trial Monitor and the last 12 as a Regional/Country Study Manager, always working result-oriented with special focus on the internal and external customer (Investigators & staff, Medical Institutions, Health Auth, e.g.). A team player with a great understanding of the ever-changing environment, known with the ability to work under pressure based on strategic & innovative and mindset. Always trying to reach recruitment goals based on the best medical institution-investigator-patient-sponsor relation. Married to a marvelous woman, Genetist and recent graduated in science Doctorate. Father of 2 amazing kids, Omar & Keimi. my family my driver in this world. My hobby, Running, this year I reached my 8th marathon.
