Omar Walker, professionally known as “Major Seven,” is a record producer, songwriter, musician, and entrepreneur from Atlanta, GA. His artist name is a direct reference to the major 7th chord in music theory while also embodying the story of his mother’s six miscarriages preceding his birth. His first professional experience in the music industry began in 2012 when the RnB Legend Keith Sweat connected him with T-Pain to work on his “Stoic” mix tape. This resulted in Major Seven producing a record called “Let You Go” featuring Shay Mooney (1/2 of Dan + Shay). Shortly after graduating from Georgia Southern University in 2013, Major Seven decided that he was going to pursue a fulltime career fueled by his passion in music production and songwriting. Major Seven’s first album placement was in March of 2014 with the release of Rick Ross’ Mastermind album where Major Seven produced the lead single titled “Devil Is a Lie” featuring Jay-Z. The album debuted at #1 on the billboard 200 charts with first week sales of in the United States.“ Devil Is a Lie” which has been certified Gold by the RIAA, has also become the theme song for the “Black Mass” movie trailer in 2015 starring Johnny Depp and the 2016 NFL Draft in addition to other visual media. Major Seven has since produced records for a number of major recording artists on various projects and albums. His current discography includes many notable productions & songwriting on major recording artist & projects that include- Rick Ross feat. Jay-Z - Devil Is a Lie - Future feat.
