My principal research interests lie on the field of human genetics, cancer biomarkers and data analysis. My research project focuses on different genetic alterations in non-invasive samples from gastrointestinal tumor (GIT) and lung carcinoma patients by using next generation sequencing (NGS). Additionally, working with biobank-based research, my second research interests focus on genotyping of large sets of FFPEs to evaluate for polygenic risk scores and cancer predisposition.
