About Ombretta Moschella

Currently working at the European Commission as Administrative Manager, I have put my creative and innovative approach at the service of the European institutions, and I live in Brussels since 2011. In 2021 I founded, together with the Burkinabe musician Zouratie Kone, the label Electro Mandingo Records, which makes musical production and distribution between Belgium, Italy and West Africa and we are part of a network which gather Belgian musical publishers (linked to Wallonie Bruxelles Musique). I am very sensitive and connoisseur of the artistic process (I graduated on Performing Arts and Cultural Management, in Rome, in 1997), and, since the beginning of my professional career, in 1998, I have been participating in the conception and in the management of several International projects in the domain of Culture and Performing Arts with different organizations, increasing my field of expertise in project management, strategic communication and stakeholder management. I am a frequent visitor of West-Africa, for personal interests (music and dance) and family reasons (I am also a national of Burkina Faso), and I am President, on voluntary basis, of a non-profit organization based in Brussels (with activities in Burkina Faso), focused on the promotion of the Arts and the geographical and human cultural heritage of West African countries and the meeting of cultures. I have a successful experience as entrepreneur of an Intercultural Bookbar and, very young, I danced in a professional Contemporary Dance Company in Italy.
