About Ondrej Sams

As Director and Co-Owner of AirDIV Group, I lead a company focused on the development and supply of HVAC air distribution systems for railway vehicles and other specialised transport applications, including buses, military vehicles, ships, and aircraft. Our core portfolio includes lightweight textile air ducts for interior air distribution and fabric expansion joints (compensators / air bellows) for exterior and high-demand applications. At AirDIV, we work closely with leading vehicle manufacturers and system integrators to deliver solutions that are efficient, lightweight, and reliable. Our approach is shaped by long-term thinking, a strong engineering mindset, and a commitment to high-quality service and performance. We aim not just to meet customer requirements, but to consistently exceed expectations through technical insight and flexibility. I hold a degree from the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague. My work is grounded in values of consistency, integrity, and continuous improvement. Inspired by the legacy of Thomas and Jan Antonín Baťa, I view entrepreneurship as a form of service—not only to our partners, but also to the broader community. Outside of business, I’m interested in long-term value creation, ethics in leadership, and personal development. I believe in being consistently good rather than occasionally great, and in building things that last.
