I am dedicated to empowering diverse learners with complex needs through effective, evidence-based strategies and cultural humility, while actively fostering strong school-home partnerships. My mission is to establish inclusive, safe, and empowering learning environments that promote student well-being and a sense of belonging, inspiring all students to achieve their full potential. My educational foundation also includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Venezuela, providing me with a comprehensive understanding of human behavior, interaction, and relationships through a bio-psycho-social lens. With over a decade of experience as a certified Personal Support Worker, I have developed expertise in dementia care, palliative care, and end-of-life care. This experience has honed my ability to provide compassionate, client-centred support, strength-based approach, while fostering resilience and dignity in diverse populations. I am now transitioning into a career focused on mental health and addiction, where I can leverage my knowledge and experience to advocate for older adults and marginalized communities.
