About Ong Jingyi

I graduated from Temasek Polytechnic with a specialization in Data Analytics, where I gained a solid foundation in statistical analysis, data visualization, and predictive modeling. During my internship at Apex Logistics, I had the opportunity to apply my skills in a practical setting, completing various data analysis projects that were directly relevant to real-world logistics and supply chain challenges. My proficiency in Excel, dashboard creation, and machine learning has enabled me to extract actionable insights from complex datasets. I am adept at using Excel for data manipulation, pivot tables, and advanced functions to streamline data processing. Additionally, my experience with creating interactive dashboards has allowed me to present data in a visually compelling and easily understandable manner, facilitating informed decision-making processes. At Apex Logistics, I played a key role in analyzing operational data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize resource allocation. By leveraging machine learning algorithms, I developed predictive models that improved accuracy in forecasting airfreight rates, ultimately contributing to more strategic pricing decisions. My ability to integrate various data sources and use sophisticated analytical tools like Power BI ensured that our analyses were both comprehensive and insightful. Moreover, my experience with the "Huggyface" app demonstrated my capability to communicate complex analytical results effectively to senior management. This involved not only presenting data but also providing strategic recommendations based on the insights derived from our analyses. My approach ensured that decision-makers had the necessary information to make informed choices that aligned with our organizational goals. My academic background and practical experience have equipped me with a robust skill set in data analytics, making me well-prepared to tackle challenging analytical tasks. I am passionate about leveraging data to drive business success and am continually seeking opportunities to expand my expertise and contribute to impactful projects.
