About Onkar Chavan

As a Software Engineer at Veritas Technologies LLC, I specialize in designing and migrating web services to cloud environments, such as AWS and Azure. I have extensive experience in developing RESTful APIs for various InfoScale components, including Volume Manager, VCS, and File System. I also ensure the security and integrity of the APIs by implementing two-way SSL and TLS communication. I graduated with a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology in June 2021, where I gained a solid foundation in programming, data structures, algorithms, and databases. I also completed an internship at Veritas, where I worked on a project to enable storage functionality for a Kubernetes cluster using a compact InfoScale storage cluster. I leveraged the Storage Performance Development Kit (SPDK) to facilitate this process and compared its performance with the LIO library. I am passionate about leveraging cutting-edge technologies to drive impactful solutions and open to new opportunities in backend development and cloud computing.
