About Onkar Gupte

A Product-Focused Engineering Leader with over a decade of experience building and scaling enterprise products.Currently, I lead engineering initiatives at RIA Advisory, where I work closely with teams to design and deliver scalable backend platforms using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture. My focus is on strong system design, clean APIs, and reliable delivery of core platform capabilities. Before RIA, I spent nearly nine years at a startup as a founding engineer, building a healthcare product suite - MyOPD from the ground up. I was deeply involved in architecture, development, and scaling the platform, which today is used across India, Oman, Jordan, Kenya, Indonesia, Philippines, Iraq, and Sri Lanka. That journey shaped my product mindset and taught me how to build systems that scale in the real world. In recent years, I’ve been working on AI integrations and platform-level capabilities, helping teams design AI-ready services, gateways, and workflows that fit naturally into existing enterprise frameworks.Core strengths- Java & Spring Boot–based microservices- Backend & platform architecture- Product-focused system design (0→scale)- AI integrations & framework-level design- Cloud & DevOps (AWS, GCP, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes)
