As Cyber Strategy Manager at Vodafone, I lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide security strategies aligned with global standards like NIST, ISO, and CIS. My work ensures that security is not just a protective layer, but a foundation for operational resilience, innovation, and long-term growth. With a PhD background that sharpened my critical thinking and problem-solving skills, I approach cyber security with both technical depth and strategic foresight. I stay ahead of evolving threats and technological advancements, continuously improving practices and exploring innovative solutions. My expertise spans across threat modeling, architectural security reviews, and the secure software development lifecycle (SDLC). In my previous role as a Cyber Security Architect I’ve played a key role in guiding secure product development and driving continuous improvement through frameworks like Security & Privacy by Design and Assurance (SPDA). I advise on and introduce security requirements across complex, high-risk environments, supporting both internal and external systems with tailored, risk-reducing configurations. I collaborate cross-functionally with legal, operations, and marketing teams to ensure cyber security is embedded from the ground up—making it a key business enabler, not an afterthought. I regularly brief senior leadership on security posture, lead initiatives around DLP, DevSecOps, ransomware protection, and phishing awareness, and contribute to major audits aligned with global standards (ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, SOX, and more). My approach goes beyond compliance—I focus on designing secure-by-default solutions that enable the business while proactively managing risk.
