About Oriane Georges

Project Manager | Marine Scientist | Bio-industries Engineer Passionate about environmental preservation, I bring technical expertise, multi-cultural experience, and a drive for sustainable solutions. With degrees in Marine Conservation and Bio-industries Engineering, my career so far has focused on R&D, fieldwork, scientific publishing, and managing multicultural projects. My mission is to reduce human impact on our planet and contribute to a greener, more sustainable future. Driven by curiosity and a commitment to personal growth, I have spent over a decade embracing diverse cultures and learning through international experiences. Over the past 11 years, I have backpacked solo across the world, studied and worked in Asia (Thailand and Lao PDR), and redefined my career to focus on ocean preservation. My journey continued with technical fieldwork and research in Malta, building a strong foundation in marine science and conservation. Within EU projects, I have led technical, cascade funding, and communication Work Packages in roles such as Project Manager, Open Call Manager, and Communication Manager. Additionally, I have experience as a grant evaluator expert for environmental projects and developed expertise in Marine RDI proposal writing. Currently, I work remotely managing several projects within in the Blue Economy sector. With my suitcase always ready, I continue to explore Europe, dedicating my free time to outdoor adventures.
