Work in a hospital 19 years, l was downgraded 11 years ago to bring other Staff Relations in who are only there 1 - & 2 years. Now doing a job I never sat exams for, Exams l paid for years ago as a Catering Ward Attendant. I was downgraded from my position 9 years to Hygiene from 2009 to present. These so called adons tell me it's the Recession years?🤔 This is such stupid talk I feel frustrated/angry/ sad? I am being put into hard physical work positions now against my 1) Neurologist wishes, 2 ) Rheumatologist & 3) G.P wishes. These ignorant Adons know it as it's documented on my health Charts. adons dismiss it! So I am here 11 years doing a job l never went back to college for - to clean a commode? empty and pull heavy bins out, pull heavy trolleys? clean and pull beds out all day from 1 room to the next? I'm a Catering Wards Attendant? Where's Catering there. But what can the Employee do except to put up with this bullying.Sue the HSE when I'm in a wheelchair? Maybe. My latest diagnosis is now I have Tennis Elbows February 2018, adons again dismiss it. They love their higher positions but when it comes to my Health & wellbeing in the work place it's a pure disgrace not to mention humiliating! Looking for new opportunities to get away from this deplorable hospital in NENAGH HOSPITALS, Tipperary. Tralee General Hospital please keep me in mind should a position arise as you know what I am capable of. it was a lovely dignified area to work in, Professional not to mention a highly respectful hospital. So was Nenagh until our Matron retired. l left tralee for family reasons back then, transferred over by a Qualified Matron and continued working on my Catering wards position until he retired. Not sure what to call this place now!
