About Orlagh Henry

As a design intern at Hugo Boss, I specialize in creating technical sketches, liaising with suppliers and product developers, and assisting in fittings and sketch handovers for menswear outerwear and trousers. I also use Clo3D to create 3D simulations of garments, and research trends for upcoming seasons. I graduated with a first class honours BA in Fashion Design from Limerick Institute of Technology, where I developed my skills in pattern drafting, construction, technology and design. I have also gained experience in made to order luxury garments at Soeren le Schmidt, a Danish fashion label. My personal skills of time management and organisation have been honed through years of team sports, theatre, part time jobs and volunteering. I am passionate about creating a fairer fashion industry, and I received the Silver Global Citizen Award from EIL in 2021 following my volunteer work in Mozambique. My goal is to continue learning and growing as a fashion designer, and to contribute to sustainable and ethical fashion practices.
