About Orlando Espino

Being part of Teach for America and teaching at Silver Creek School immensely developed my organizational, planning, analyzing, reflective and leadership skills. It has helped me become a conscious individual in many aspects of the classroom and life. For instance, the importance of differentiation in the classroom so that all students are able to learn at their own level and pace. This can also be applied to any other work environment because individuals learn differently and understanding that is essential for growth and communication. Also, the importance of creating a positive classroom environment and building those relationships with students to help students achieve in the classroom. Same concept can be applied to building a positive work environment so that employees can reach their true potential. Ultimately, Teach for America and Silver Creek has helped shape my pedagogy.
