About Ornit Gross

I am a Director-level Technical Program Leader with 25+ years of experience driving complex system programs from pre-silicon architecture through product launch and ecosystem adoption. My work sits at the intersection of silicon, sensing, AI/ML, and large-scale system integration. I have delivered 20+ silicon-enabled hardware/software platforms across XR, computer vision, depth sensing, volumetric video, and microprocessor technologies. At Meta Reality Labs, I lead portfolio governance for 25 zero-to-one XR technologies spanning perception, AI/ML, graphics, display, and system integration - delivering into next-generation wearable platforms. Previously at Intel, I led RealSense depth-sensing platforms adopted across robotics, drones, PC, and AR/VR ecosystems, and drove microprocessor technologies from pre-silicon definition through ecosystem enablement. I specialize in:• Hardware-software co-design• AI/ML system integration• Cross-layer performance, power and latency tradeoffs• Pre-silicon to production orchestration• Aligning senior engineering leaders without direct authority.I am particularly passionate about first-generation platforms in XR, robotics, and AI systems.
