About Osama Naved

I am Certified Internal Auditor (IIA-USA) and CA-finalist (ICAP) with Bachelor degree in accounting from Asia e University Malaysia. I have total work experience of 10 years out of which more than 7 years consist of internal audit and risk advisory. Key highlights of my internal audit and risk advisory experience are as follows: • Managed whole internal audit yearly plan of listed company alone and directly reporting to Head of audit. My task includes: o Identifying and updating audit universe, than selecting audits in internal audit plan to be performed through risk assessment process o Performing audit planning, fieldwork, drafting audit report and discussing observations with management and making presentation for BOD to report key audit observations with management comments and action points. o Continuous follow up with management regarding audit observations and action points. • Throughout my career in industry and in KPMG, along with other audits and assignments, I performed following departments/functions audit multiple times as manager/audit in-charge/team member: o Procurement and Payables o Production and inventory management o Sales and receivables o Human resource and administration o Financial statement closing process etc. • In KPMG I was also part of the team which was involved in revamping the Risk and Control Matrixes (RACM) at one of biggest conglomerate (company) in Pakistan. I was also the part of special assignment related to study and understanding current processes and identifying gaps in ERP solution available at that time in one of the largest departmental store chain in Pakistan. • Experienced in managing multiple tasks in any given time.
