About Oscar Amaya

What can i say, i began my printing career at age 18. And now 31 years later i am more excited about printing than ever. I started my career in a flexographic only facility. in my 13 year career in only flexo, i grew as a rewinder/quality inspector to a flexo press operator. i was fortunate to attend Mark Andy and get certified training from MA. I grew as a shift supervisor to General Manager and purchasing. So much learned in those 13 years. As printing started to change to the Digital Era, i made a move to different label manufacturing facility that purchased an HP Indigo. I began my Indigo career in 2005 and have never looked back. The technology is amazing. I worked at Stamps.com where we printed personalized photostamps. awesome experience, Here is where i learned the true meaning of leadership. i was fortunate to grow my career as operations manager, purchasing, and trainer. I enjoy training new hires, especially on the Indigo. The ability to train and possibly make an impact on people's lives is so important to me. Culture #1. As technology changes, so do i. I am a firm believer we must change with the times and continually improve to be the best version of ourselves. 2018 I began to work at CCL in Upland where i have helped improve the work flow in the HP Indigo digital division. I have been the Lead in Sustainability, Certified Hazardous waste management, And now the Safety administrator. I enjoy the challenge, the most rewarding part of my job is the ability to properly train employees to be successful at their position and also train them to work in a healthy and safe environment.#Culture #training # leadership.
