About Oscar Andersson

I am an open-minded highly motivated Engineer with a background in both design engineering and welding manufacturing processes. With a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering as well as an IWE diploma and a CWI Certificate I am well familiarized with the whole process from design to manufacturing and inspection. In all job situations my drive is to always develop and improve that next new thing, be that a manufacturing process, a new design or the most important thing of all: other people. I enjoy the challenges of the developing processes when you need to identify the right pieces and find the right angles to keep pushing forward. As I professional seeing everything come together as one is what I find the most awarding of all. Currently I work as the Principal Welding Engineer for GKN Aerospace Sweden where I manage the company’s QMS-system regarding all welding related procedures and supervise a team of 10 process engineers working with our welding processes. As a person I am well organised and communicate well on all levels in both English and Swedish both written and orally.
