I am a well seasoned Bilingual/bicultural, innovative candidate with great people skills, above average technology skills (computer/software and telephony), a passion for and experience in emergency and disaster response and extensive experience collaborating in community building with diverse populations and agencies. I have above average leadership skills always focusing on improving the ability of those that I supervise to understand and adapt to change, and, I lead by example and model appropriate transparency and accountability. Experience Highlights 211 Tampa Bay Cares, Inc- Assigned to participate in Katrina Recovery in Monroe, La. Asked to be the lead position in the call center operations team. In addition to call center development, staff training and liaison with United Way leaders I was tasked with developing a process to gather new or updated information, publish it daily for access in the call center, and making it transferable to computers when they became available. The original document is still referenced by AIRS and 211s for best practice development and review in the area of Emergency Management and Response. City of Milwaukee Health Department - Invited to participate at a clerical level in the response to a Measles/Mumps outbreak response by the City of Milwaukee Health Department. I assisted with the coordination and distribution of internal information, scheduling meetings and organization of data for the Director of Disease Control and Environmental Health and the Public Information Director. 211info, Portland Oregon - I participated in coordinating a response to the H1N1 Public Health Emergency in a cooperative effort between 211info and State and County Health organizations. This required developing a response plan and researching, coordinating and implementing IT and Telephony requirements. A strong network with Emergency Planning and Response key contacts contributed strongly towards our acquisition of this project.
