About Oshea Myles

Skilled in Producing, Directing, Writing, Production, Camera, Theatre and Business. Strong arts and design professional with a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) focused in Writing and Film/Video Production from USC School of Cinematic Arts. O’Shea’’ Myles is director, writer, and producer who has worked on over 15 short films and has written four independent features and two television pilots. She was the Associate Producer on the Oscar-nominated student short “Amelia’s Closet” 2016. In 2009, her undergrad thesis film, “All Out” was chosen for Official Selection at the Texas Black Film Festival. O’Shea’’ comes from a theater background as an actor, director, and playwright, starring in such plays as “In Darfur” and directing plays including Amiri Baraka’s “The Dutchman”. O’Shea’’ is an advocate for and member of the LGBTQ community and volunteers time to supporting community organizations. Since furthering her education after working in the industry, her focus has turned to use her skills and talents to innovate the dynamic and diverse world of storytelling by showcasing and ushering diverse voices and stories into the mainstream discourse.
