About Osman Cakir

I have worked as Product Delivery Lead in Nasdaq Technology focusing on Risk Product for Central Counterparties (CCP) in Stockholm basis since 2020. I have been responsible for the backlog of Risk Product and managing the development team. CCP Risk management of Cash Equities, Derivatives, Fixed Income, Securities Lending and OTC markets is the main area of my expertise. Value at Risk, SPAN, Cash Flow Margin methods as well as Stress Testing, Default Fund and Theoretical Price Calculations are more specific topics of our work. I work actively with stakeholders and gather their new requirements. After analyze of requirements, I am responsible for the tracking(JIRA), documentation (FD, CR, SPECT), and work with developers. I have always been a part of ongoing projects collaborating with project management and scrum team. Before joining Nasdaq, I had worked as Business Analyst for Takasbank which is the Central Counterparty(CCP) institution of Turkey for 5 years. In this role, I was responsible for the proper credit risk calculation of clients.I had taken an active role in design of this technology with the help of my knowledge in business rules of different financial markets.I had prepared many financial reports and daily monitored risky members in first years of my career. I had experienced business rules and risk management tools of different financial markets on those years. In times, I started to take more advanced tasks, especially in IT.
