With over 30 years in the field of Information and Technology (I&T), I have led various portfolios and driven large projects/programmes in partnership with business executives. My passion lies in connecting I&T to Business and evolving digital strategies to derive business value. I am committed to continuous learning and upskilling. Current and past membership of various committees, with prior roles including chairperson. My contribution based on my skills of I&T and Governance. My social contribution, being a member of management committees and boards of non-profits such as the Pretoria Muslim Trust School Board and the Eldoraigne Mosque Committee. Through the Institute of Directors' networking and webinars, I have gained insights into Board membership, behavior, and attributes. My key achievements include: • Driving the delivery of a large transformation program through digital. • Executing the mandate of a CIO as Acting Chief Information Officer. • Delivering an I&T Strategy for a Central Bank, contributing to IT modernization. • Enhancing I&T Governance (Governance, Risk & Compliance) and Information Security, refining the Operating model. • Delivery of Large Programmes, management of a PMO and Change Management. • Leading Service Delivery Management of I&T Solutions and Operations, ensuring performance management without significant disruptions. • Mentoring and guiding individuals within and outside the workplace. • Establishing and maturing an Enterprise Architecture function as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). • Concluding a large IT outsourcing contract over 3 years, achieving more services at the same price. • Representing IT on various Governance structures, driving effectiveness and efficiencies.
