About Osmo Nummelin

I am a quality assurance / quality control oriented chemist. I have almost 15 years of experience working in an international company under the strict control of quality systems. As a laboratory chemist I was responsible for directing testing activities, compliance with the quality systems, change management, methodological compliance of test methods and ordering of supplies. In my last assignment at ExxonMobil I was able to use my skills on the production side, as a operations supervisor and gain supervisory experience. I believe that safety at work is of the utmost importance in all working environments and must be reflected at all levels of operation. As an analytical thinker, I like continuous improvement in the LEAN spirit. In management, I consider staff development to be one of the most important aspects. I value cooperation between colleagues, also across departmental boundaries. In the work community I am a calm and approachable colleague and supervisor. I have just started as a Quality Control Chemist for Fermion Oy. Looking forward to learning a new industry and meeting new people.
