As the Chief Accountant at Zulal Wellness Resort, I am responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment with the company's financial goals. In this role, I lead the preparation of financial statements, manage month-end reporting, and ensure the timely reconciliation of all accounts. My focus is to provide clear insights into financial performance, enabling informed decision-making and supporting the overall business strategy. One of my core responsibilities is managing and optimizing the balance sheet, ensuring that all assets, liabilities, and equity accounts are accurately tracked and reported. Additionally, I handle cash flow management, ensuring that the resort maintains sufficient liquidity to meet its operational needs, while also contributing to long-term financial planning and budgeting. With a deep commitment to financial integrity, I oversee credit control, working to manage and reduce outstanding debts, and ensure that credit limits are effectively monitored. I collaborate with various departments to implement robust financial controls and streamline processes to ensure compliance and efficiency. I bring a strong academic background to this role, holding a Master’s degree in Finance from the Private University of Marrakech, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management. These qualifications, combined with my extensive experience in both the hospitality and finance sectors, have equipped me with the skills to deliver high-quality financial management, whether it’s managing accounts receivable, optimizing cost structures, or ensuring seamless payroll operations. I am passionate about continuous learning and development, not only for myself but for the teams I work with. With fluency in English, French, and Arabic, I thrive in multicultural environments and am always looking for ways to improve collaboration and drive results.
