I build software organizations that ship reliably at scale—clarifying scope, aligning hardware/software/product, and making risk, testing, and status visible early. I manage Weather Stations software at Vaisala (B2B environmental tech), driving platform modernization (simplification, modularity, reuse) and secure development flows (IEC 62443) so teams move faster with higher quality. I’m a practical AI operator. I’ve set up agentic workflows across a 20+ person org—using plurality-of-agents, Claude Code, OpenAI/Azure API, and MCP/deep-research approaches—to accelerate legacy-code understanding, system-test generation, PR summaries, and documentation as well as my own productivity. We track usage and impact, treating AI as an engineering productivity system, not hype. Previously at KONE, I served as chief design engineer for an IoT/edge sensing platform from concept to worldwide deployment. I led system & electronics design, DFM, and sourcing strategy that delivered multi-million-euro savings while improving reliability at scale. Earlier at GE Healthcare, I led advanced tech and product-owner work with GE Global Research (New York State), spending ~1–2 months/year in the US for supplier scouting and joint development. I contributed 15+ patents/applications in wireless sensing, embedded systems, and patient monitoring, and helped secure €28.5m for a wireless-sensor program.
