Establish an expanding network of mentors comprising bold entrepreneurs and leading innovators, both from the JKP economic block, Kenya and abroad. Consider inviting very successful alumni in business, friends of CAPYEIs, and distinguished expatriates to join this network and offer the colossal knowledge, experience and wisdom to the innovators at the lab. Provide value chain exploration and analysis in various predetermined sectors as prescribed by JKP. Act as a one-stop entrepreneurial and business skilling and resource centre advisor for the respective counties where all business information, intelligence and data regarding value chains in different sectors shall be stored and easily accessed by interested parties. Ensure that SME labs shall act as an exhibition centre for MSMEs that has successfully gone through the various stages of the innovation process from ideation, prototyping and launch of products or services that solve customers’ problem or lead to economic growth in the county and sub-counties. Play a role in Policy Formulation: Ensure that by practice SME lab becomes a System influencer: SME lab part centre of excellence shall actively influence and advocate for the full implementation of TVET within the framework requirements of the National Education Sector Strategic Plan (2018-2022CBET) in the region. Develop an Entrepreneurial support system: Ensure that Planning, implementation and reporting are done for the SME lab. Develop social media posts and case studies for project visibilities Mobilize best performers to give testimonies at different events in the project.
